I am in the process of re-organizing the forums here; moving threads and setting things up the way I had them (or as close as I can remember). It will take a bit of time to move all the threads, so just hang in there

It seems that there are a bunch of folks over at the atari forums that are jumping ship due to some new rules (well, the rules are not new, just newly posted and causing a bit of over reaction by some members there).

I would like to point ou that the rules posted over there are agreeable to me, as far as I understand what they're doing. My rules here are similar, yet much more simple:

Vodhin's rules:
1. Be good to eachother; there's no need to nasty here
2. Don't steal other folk's stuff
3. There is no fighting allowed in the War Room
4. See Rule #1.5




Since I have this website back up an running again, I think it might be good to think about restructuring the forums here to better suit your needs and wants.

I know that the restoration of this site is incomplete, and I have to say that I simply cannot get the forums back the way they were just before the malware hit the site. Tests have much corrupt data, and it looks like a number of posts were actually modified to allow the malware in. I'm not sure.

So, I know there were folks who wanted a No Limits section in the forums and downloads, but I can't remember all the fine points of what is needed for that. Those interested please let me know by posting a comment to this article.

The rest of the RCT3 forums will be overhauled this week, with much thread moving and a new structure- I'm open for ideas on that too.

There are a number of ded links that I'm working on, and there are a few issues with the BB Code buttons and smilies and whatnot that I haven't figured out just yet. Other, more pressing matters will keep me from making speedy progress, but progress is still what I plan to accomplish, just at a slower pace.

Hello all! Vodhin.org is back up and running, though not without loss. Some silly mistakes made by both myself and my webhosting company has left us with a website that is not 100% back to where it was when I took it down in November of 2009.


USER ACCOUNTS HAVE BEEN RESTORED! You may now log in with your user name and password as they were this past November (11/14-09), and if you have forgotten your password, you should be able to use the Forgot Password feature in the logon menu (I have yet to test the site's email system... but I will check it next). The reset password system should send an email to the email address that is with your account. If you no longer have that email address, you will need to create a new account as I cannot change it for you (to prevent others from posing as youself).


All DOWNLOADS appear to be restorred and are in working order- no bugs or viruses have been found in any of them. Downloads should be available to anyone, with or without a user account.


IT IS IMPORTANT THAT YOU DO NOT POST ANYTHING THAT YOU WANT TO KEEP IN OUR FORUMS YET- i AM STILL ATTEMPTING TO RESTORE A MORE RECIENT BACKUP COPY AND WHAT YOU POST AFTER TODAY MAY BE WIPED OUT.


For now, please feel free to access the downloads, and we hope to have this site fully running very soon..

Once in a while someone really hunker's down and just makes an extreemly useful set and I just have to post a news item about it. Today it's FunDMental who has been toiling along, both learning how to make CS and import it and immediately jumping into texture animation, model animation and using a new trick: using the LOD options for special effects!

Battor77 has re-opened a basic page on his website where you can download his scenery sets. It would be nice to host them here at Vodhin.org, but Battor77 wishes to have them hosted only on his own server.

Please note that Battor77's sets use French as their default language. I recommend that you do not in any way alter the names of any files. Also, because of the language used, it is possible that some sets might have items that use special characters that may not work on your own computer. This may cause the scenery to crash your version of RCT3. If you experience the dreaded "no SID for SVD" error, first check thatthe set is installed correctly (http:// www.vodhin.org/e107/ e107_plugins/ content/content.php? cat.11) and when you are sure it is installed correctly and you still get the error, understand that it might be due to this language difference (in that case it would be a few pieces, not all of them).

Battor77's sets might also contain pieces that have high polygon counts, which also might affect your RCT3 experience. The web page that hosts the downloads also contains links to images for each download, I advise you to examine each set's contents to give you an idea of what you will be downloading.

Battor 77 is no longer making custom Scenery (as far as I know) and he will not likely do anything to change or update what he has already. No one else is allowed to alter his set either, so if you find yourself with some pieces not working, you should not ask for help changing them.
